New York dub spinster DJ Logic brought festival goers to their knees with his unrelenting Jazz/Dance mixes this past Saturday at the Winnipeg Folk Fest. Last Wednesday after our soundcheck at Augusta House in Toronto, I was walking down the street with The Lytics and we noticed that the area had a real Brazilian slums sort of feel to it. Apparently it’s actually a super laid back area full of hippies and stores that sell pot. Either way, this building’s got some character!

I picked up this gorgeous Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM Standard Zoom Lens for a shoot I’m doing tomorrow with Toronto based (but from good ol’ Winnipeg) DJ Dougie B. This bad boy weighs in at four pounds; better do some neck-xercises (see what I did there?) before heading out tomorrow! I’m pretty excited for this shoot, DB has some really cool ideas in mind… Stay tuned!
